In a recent social media post, Al-Duwaish shared a video clip, commenting, “This Al-Nassr has bewildered them!”, highlighting the club’s resilience in the face of mounting pressure.
The commentator expressed disbelief regarding the “active financial monitoring” imposed on the team, questioning if such a system exists anywhere else in the global game. Al-Duwaish noted that while Al-Nassr had previously advocated for the implementation of Financial Fair Play, those standards were seemingly ignored in favor of more restrictive measures.
Further questioning the parity of the league, Al-Duwaish pointed out a significant disparity in squad depth. He questioned why Al-Nassr is the only title contender limited to just ten foreign players—a constraint that has reportedly forced the team to compete in some matches with as few as five or seven players.
Al-Duwaish concluded that these hurdles represent a double standard, arguing that Al-Nassr has not undergone the same sweeping overhaul of local and foreign talent as other clubs.
