Family Feud Continues: Alain Delon’s Children Face Off in Court
The already fraught saga surrounding the estate of the late French actor Alain Delon has taken another dramatic turn. His sons, Anthony and Alain-Fabien Delon, appeared in a Paris court on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, facing accusations from their sister, Anouchka Delon, regarding the privacy of a private conversation.
Anouchka Delon is pursuing legal action against her brothers for “violation of the intimacy of private life,” according to reports. The case centers around an audio recording made on January 7, 2024, at the family’s residence in Douchy. Alain-Fabien allegedly concealed his phone under a towel to capture a conversation between his father and Anouchka.
In the recording, Anouchka reportedly expressed her exhaustion and frustration, stating, “I am tired, Papa, I am angry given that of everything that is happening. They are burying you.” She also added, “The trap is closing in on you.” The recording was subsequently published on Instagram by Anthony Delon, accompanied by the caption “the masks are falling.”
Alain-Fabien justified his actions, explaining, “Why would you seek to throw these words and this venom at him before going to sleep?” He and Anthony, who is accused of disseminating the recording, claim Anouchka was manipulative. Both brothers face potential penalties of up to one year in prison and a fine of 45,000 euros.
During Tuesday’s hearing, Alain-Fabien Delon defended his actions, asserting he was trying to protect his father. He stated, “I understand that I am tarnishing (her) image […] I am doing everything to honor the memory of my father who could not defend himself at the end of his life.”
The legal battle unfolds against a backdrop of ongoing family discord following Alain Delon’s death in August 2024. The case highlights the complexities of inheritance and family dynamics within the world of French cinema. Alain-Fabien also removed the recording from Instagram “out of respect, on the day of [his father’s] death.”
The hearing, initially scheduled for April 2025, is shedding light on the “recording affair” and the deep divisions within the Delon family. Further details of the proceedings reveal Anouchka was absent from the courtroom.
