Algerian international referees Mustapha Ghorbal and Lahlou Benbraham have been selected to officiate at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The appointments were made by FIFA in coordination with the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Mustapha Ghorbal will serve as a match official, while Lahlou Benbraham has been chosen as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
