Alldocube Debuts iPlay 80 mini Ultra: The World’s First 5G Android Mini Gaming Tablet
Alldocube has officially expanded its portfolio with the launch of the iPlay 80 mini Ultra, a device the company positions as the world’s first 5G-enabled Android mini gaming tablet. Designed to bridge the gap between portable handhelds and full-sized tablets, the device targets enthusiasts seeking flagship-level performance in a compact form factor.

The iPlay 80 mini Ultra is centered around a high-performance 8.8-inch IPS display featuring a 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels). To cater to fast-paced gaming, the screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and ultra-responsive touch input. This hardware combination suggests a strategic move to capture the niche market of mobile gamers who prioritize portability without sacrificing screen fluidity.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. The chipset utilizes a configuration of four Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 3.35 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores at 2.2 GHz, paired with an ARM Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. According to company data, the device can achieve AnTuTu v11 scores of up to 1.7 million, offering a significant performance boost in CPU and GPU efficiency over previous MediaTek iterations.
To support demanding titles, Alldocube has equipped the device with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with the option to expand capacity via a microSD card supporting up to 1TB. The tablet also introduces a bypass charging feature, allowing users to power the device directly while gaming to reduce heat and preserve battery health.
The device is powered by a 7,200mAh Li-Polymer battery that supports 20W fast charging and is compatible with chargers up to 33W. In terms of connectivity, the iPlay 80 mini Ultra supports 5G cellular networks, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring low-latency connections for online multiplayer gaming across various environments.
On the software front, the tablet ships with Android 16, and Alldocube has committed to providing an update to Android 17 once it becomes officially available. The physical build consists of an aluminum alloy chassis measuring 208.2 x 129.2 x 7.75 mm, keeping the device slim and pocket-ready.
The iPlay 80 mini Ultra also features a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing sensor. It supports dual nano-SIM card slots, enhancing its utility as a mobile communication device.

For global consumers, a special launch offer is available on AliExpress from April 10, 2026, through April 15, 2026, pricing the tablet at $314.99.
