Lillehammer, Norway is set to host the finals of the 2025-2026 Alpine Ski World Cup, and a contingent of 19 French athletes are prepared to compete in the season-ending event. The competition will be split between Kvitfjell for speed events and Hafjell for technical races.

Among those representing France is Alexis Pinturault, who will be making his final World Cup start in the giant slalom. The event marks the complete of a distinguished career for the veteran skier.

Adding to the excitement, young talents Emy Charbonnier and Victor Haghighat will be making their World Cup debuts. The pair recently earned double gold at the Junior World Championships in super-G. Their inclusion signals a promising future for French alpine skiing.

Romane Miradoli will lead the French women’s team, competing in both the downhill and super-G. She will be joined by Laura Gauché, Camille Cerutti, and fellow junior world champion Emy Charbonnier in the super-G. Three French skiers will also participate in the slalom competition.

Nils Allègre will spearhead the French men’s team in the speed events, competing in both downhill and super-G. Matthieu Bailet of Nice is also looking to finish the season strong, hoping to capitalize on opportunities in Lillehammer.

The finals are reserved for the top 25 skiers in each discipline’s standings, with no replacements allowed for any absences due to injury.
