Ambalappuzha – Independent candidate G. Sudhakaran has, for the first time, confirmed he has the support of the United Democratic Front (UDF). The confirmation came in a Facebook post announcing his intention to file his nomination papers tomorrow.
Local Congress leaders reportedly visited Sudhakaran’s home to formally pledge their support. Sudhakaran also stated he has not changed his position that Pinarayi Vijayan should not serve another term as Chief Minister. He indicated that a third front would likely fail given the current political climate.
