Amy Schumer Displays Slimmed Figure at New York City Event
Comedian Amy Schumer showcased a noticeably slimmer physique yesterday while attending an event for Mark Ronson’s memoir, “Night People,” in New York City.
Schumer wore a red Valentino dress featuring a bow detail and paired it with black pumps, sharing photos of the look on Instagram. She was also photographed carrying a single red rose during her outing in Manhattan. Celebrities including Chelsea Handler commented on the photos, with Handler writing, “Looking like a real buttercup!”
The appearance comes nearly a year after Schumer publicly discussed her weight loss journey, initially crediting Ozempic before clarifying she was using Wegovy and later transitioning to Mounjaro. She revealed in March she had been taking the weight-loss drug, stating she wanted to “keep it real” with her fans, and has been vocal about the importance of transparency regarding semaglutide use, calling out other celebrities for not being forthcoming. The increasing use of these medications has sparked wider conversations about body image and societal pressures.
Schumer has consistently displayed her weight loss in recent months, including posts featuring a swimsuit and a Miu Miu minidress, and recently shared a mirror selfie with the caption, “No filter no filler no clean mirror.” For more information on weight-loss medications, resources are available from the Mayo Clinic.
Schumer is expected to continue promoting her current projects and has not commented on future plans regarding her health regimen.
