Colombian influencer Valentina Ruiz, known as ‘La Jesuu,’ is facing accusations of theft following a lavish 15th birthday celebration for Isabella Valdiri, the daughter of dancer and influencer Andrea Valdiri. Reports surfaced alleging that Ruiz and another content creator removed 15 centerpieces, collectively valued at $30 million pesos (approximately $7,500 USD), from the Cartagena party.

The allegations initially spread through social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok, with claims that the event’s rental company discovered the missing decorations during inventory and identified Ruiz and “La Blanquita” through security footage. Although, these claims lacked official confirmation from event organizers, the decorator, or representatives of those accused.

Ruiz responded to the accusations with characteristic irony, sharing a screenshot of a news report on her Instagram account with the caption “Jajajajaja, amo Facebook” (Laughing, I love Facebook). This reaction quickly circulated online, fueling further discussion about the incident.

The party itself was a high-profile event, reportedly costing around 2.5 billion pesos (approximately $625,000 USD) and featuring performances by artists like Mr. Black and Rafa Pérez. The scale of the celebration drew significant attention even before the accusations surfaced, highlighting the growing trend of extravagant milestone events among Latin American influencers.

Andrea Valdiri has also addressed the situation, responding to a follower who criticized the excesses of the party, stating, “No todo vale en redes” (Not everything is worth it on social media). Further details regarding the alleged theft and any potential investigation remain unclear.

The incident underscores the increasing scrutiny faced by influencers and public figures as their events and actions are documented and shared widely on social media. News outlets including Infobae, Pulzo, and Noticias RCN have reported on the developing story.
