World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann is set to join Orlando City SC in Major League Soccer (MLS) beginning in July.
The club announced Tuesday the signing of the 35-year-aged French attacker from Atlético Madrid, with a contract extending through the 2027-28 season and an option for 2028-29.

Griezmann was a silver medalist with the French national team at the 2022 World Cup and earned a silver medal at the 2016 European Championship. The forward has earned 137 caps for his country.
Throughout his career, Griezmann has played exclusively in Spain, making 792 appearances for Real Sociedad, Atlético Madrid, and FC Barcelona, scoring 298 goals and providing 132 assists.
With Atlético, he secured a Europa League title, a Spanish Super Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup, reaching the Champions League final in 2016. He also won the Spanish Copa del Rey with Barcelona in 2021 – according to MTI.
