The world of Gundam is coming to Apex Legends. The crossover event introduces new weapons, map updates, and more.
The Apex Legends and Gundam crossover event begins on March 11. As part of the collaboration, eight Legends will receive skins based on Gundam designs, specifically tailored to reflect their individual personalities, lore, and playstyles.
Valkyrie will get a skin inspired by Wing Gundam Zero, while Crypto’s skin draws inspiration from Freedom Gundam. Octane’s skin is based on Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, and Alter will receive a skin inspired by Gundam Epyon. A Sparrow Skin, inspired by Char Aznable, will also be available in the Reward Shop.
Limited-Time Gundam Event in Apex Legends
In addition to the skins, eight weapons inspired by Gundam are also coming to Apex Legends. These include a “Buster Rifle” Kraber, a “Destiny 99” R-99, and an “Aerial 301” R-301.
The event will be available for a limited time, so players looking to acquire the skins will require to act quickly. All Legend Skins can be purchased directly through the Apex Legends x Gundam Event Store until April 14.
The crossover extends beyond the game itself, with model kits of Gundam inspired by Apex Legends also being launched. Full details about the crossover event can be found here.
