Apple is preparing to launch a new lineup of “Ultra” high-end products, including a foldable iPhone, a MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display, and a next-generation of AirPods equipped with cameras.
Following the release of the more affordable MacBook Neo laptop, Apple is gearing up to introduce a new fleet of premium products potentially arriving this fall under the “Ultra” branding, according to Bloomberg’s Apple specialist Mark Gurman.
Gurman reports that this new product range will include a foldable iPhone, expected to cost around $2,000, featuring a large internal display and integrated sensors. Should it not be branded “Ultra,” “Fold” is being considered as an alternative name.
The company has been preparing production of its first foldable iPhone smartphone with Foxconn since last June, and a launch in 2026 is now anticipated.
Another key addition to this series of launches will be a MacBook Pro with a touchscreen OLED display, which was previously discussed in November of last year. Switching to OLED technology could allow Apple to manufacture thinner laptops with increased brightness. This move underscores the ongoing trend of integrating more interactive elements into professional-grade computing devices.
Based on Apple’s history of OLED updates for iPad and iPhone, Gurman suggests this new MacBook Pro will be positioned above models using M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, signifying a higher-end tier.
Finally, Apple may release a new generation of AirPods, with the main innovation being the integration of artificial vision cameras to link data with Siri. This feature could push the price of the new earbuds above the current AirPods Pro models. The addition of cameras to AirPods signals a potential shift towards more contextually aware and intelligent audio experiences.
