Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market, a major event for the global tourism industry, has been postponed to August, organizers announced Wednesday. The event, originally scheduled for May 4-7, will now take place August 17-20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The decision to delay the 33rd edition of the trade show was made to prioritize the safety and well-being of attendees, partners and colleagues, and to provide greater confidence and flexibility for the global travel and tourism community, according to a statement from RX, the event company.
“Arabian Travel Market has long been a platform of choice, bringing the global travel and tourism community together in Dubai, enabling destinations, suppliers and industry leaders to connect, collaborate and shape the future of the sector,” said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director Middle East, Arabian Travel Market.
The postponement aims to ensure a smooth and confident experience for all participants as they plan their involvement in the important tourism gathering, organizers said. RX will continue to support all participants and work closely with exhibitors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition to the new dates.
“Our priority remains the safety and well-being of our clients, partners and colleagues, and the decision to postpone the Arabian Travel Market 2026 to August reflects our commitment to ensuring everyone can participate with confidence and flexibility in planning their participation in this important event in the tourism sector,” Curtis added.
The Arabian Travel Market serves as a key global platform connecting travel destinations, travel service suppliers, hospitality brands, airlines, technology providers, and travel professionals from around the world. The move underscores the importance of adaptability in the face of ongoing global considerations for large-scale events.
