Arthur Bauchet bounced back from a disappointing super-G run on Monday to win gold in the standing super combined at the Paralympic Games on Tuesday, March 10. The French skier posted the fastest slalom time after finishing fifth in the super-G portion of the event. Bauchet, the super combined Paralympic champion at Beijing 2022, successfully defended his title and secured the second gold medal for the French delegation at Milan-Cortina.

With that victory, the 25-year-classic Bauchet now has 10 Paralympic medals, including four golds. He previously won gold in the super combined at the 2022 Beijing Games. The win is France’s second gold medal at the Milan-Cortina Games. Other French competitors also saw action today, with Oscar Burnham finishing just off the podium in fourth place and Jules Segers failing to finish after a fall in the slalom run.
