A fire broke out at the home of Turkish actress Aslıhan Karalar in Riva on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The actress, known for her roles in popular television series like “Establishment: Osman” and “Alparslan: The Great Seljuks,” safely evacuated her dogs from the burning residence.
ACTRESS HOSPITALIZED FOR SMOKE INHALATION
Karalar was taken to a hospital after experiencing the effects of smoke inhalation, but her condition is reported as stable and not life-threatening. The fire destroyed all of her belongings and clothing, and she reportedly requested clothes from friends at the hospital.

Speaking to Snob Magazin, Karalar recounted the frightening experience, stating: “If my mother hadn’t woken up for sahur, we would have died. We were given a lucky break.”
Following the fire, Karalar is said to be in good spirits, relieved that her dogs were unharmed. The incident underscores the importance of working smoke detectors and quick reactions in emergency situations.
