Assetto Corsa Rally has received a significant update, bringing the challenging roads of the Monte-Carlo Rally to players for the first time with laser-scanned accuracy. The update underscores the growing trend of highly detailed simulations in the racing game genre.
The highly-rated Assetto Corsa Rally – currently averaging 87% positive reviews on Steam – now features the iconic Monte-Carlo stages, meticulously recreated using laser scanning technology. This addition provides players with over 30 kilometers of new tracks to explore.
Beyond the new stages, update 0.3 introduces dynamic weather conditions, including dynamic snowfall. This means a race can begin on dry asphalt and transition to snowy conditions, dynamically impacting gameplay – a first for rally simulation. Two new vehicles have also been added to the game:
- SKODA Fabia RS Rally2 – 2022 – AWD
- Lancia Fulvia Coupe HF – 1970 – FWD
The update also includes minor improvements to audio and physics. A complete list of changes can be found here.
