For nearly 50 years, Astra Ozoliņa has been a guiding force in Latvian swimming, nurturing young athletes in Jelgava and helping them reach the highest levels of competition. Her dedication to the sport has produced remarkable results, including developing athletes who have represented Latvia on the Olympic stage.

Ozoliņa’s most recent success story is Didzis Rudavs, who made his mark on the international scene in 2018. Rudavs secured a silver medal at the European Junior Swimming Championships in the 50-meter breaststroke, showcasing his potential as a rising star.
