Baltic Ground Services (BGS), a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, will continue to supply aircraft fuel to Ryanair at six European airports, the companies announced on March 12, 2026. The extended partnership underscores the importance of reliable fuel supply for Europe’s largest low-cost carrier and BGS’s role in supporting large-scale airline operations.
Under the renewed agreements, BGS will provide fueling services at airports in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Kaunas, Palanga, and Ostrava. The cooperation in Tallinn and Riga began on January 1, 2026, while the agreements for Vilnius, Kaunas, Palanga, and Ostrava remain in effect from April 1, 2026, according to a statement released by BGS.
BGS has been a fueling partner to Ryanair since 2016, serving multiple airports throughout the Baltic and Central European regions. The airline relies on BGS to support its high-frequency flight schedules.
“Extending our cooperation with Ryanair reflects the strong operational partnership we have built over the years,” said Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group Head of Commerce. “Supporting one of Europe’s largest airlines requires consistent service quality, efficiency, and the ability to adapt to operational needs across different airports. We are pleased to continue contributing to Ryanair’s operations and ensuring reliable fueling services for its flights.”
Steven Fitzgerald, Director of Sustainability & Finance at Ryanair, added, “We are pleased to continue our partnership with BGS across multiple airports. Reliable ground service partners are essential to ensuring efficient aircraft turnaround and maintaining strong operational performance. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with BGS across our network in the region.”
BGS provides aircraft fueling services across the Baltics and Central Europe, operating in a total of ten airports, as reported by LRT. Avia Solutions Group, the parent company of BGS, also offers aircraft leasing, maintenance, and insurance services (ACMI) with a fleet of 145 aircraft.
