The women’s team relay is set to begin at 2:30 PM, followed by the men’s mass start at 5:55 PM. The biathlon World Cup will be broadcast live on LTV7.
Baiba Bendika, Sanita Buliņa, Annija Keita Sabule and Sandra Buliņa will compete with the 17th starting position among 20 teams. Meanwhile, Rastorgujevs will start the mass start with the 24th position.
The Latvian women’s quartet has competed four times in the World Cup relay this season, achieving a best result of 14th place, with finishes also in 15th, 18th, and 19th positions.
Rastorgujevs has not participated in a mass start this season.
This season’s World Cup features nine stages. Following the competitions in Kontiolahti, further World Cup stages are scheduled in Otepää and Holmenkollen.
