Istanbul, Turkey – March 16, 2026 – Turkish discount retailers BİM and A101 are both offering the Samsung Galaxy A17 smartphone for sale, signaling a trend of competitive pricing on smartphones in the Turkish market. The availability of the device at both stores underscores the growing appeal of affordable smartphone options for consumers.
The Galaxy A17, featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, will be available for 10,999 Turkish Lira, which is approximately $335 USD based on current exchange rates, according to announcements. BİM will begin offering the phone on March 17th, 2026, while A101 will start sales on March 19th, 2026.
The smartphone boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by an Exynos 1330 processor. It also includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The device is IP54 certified, providing protection against dust and water splashes.
Originally announced on August 6, 2025, and released on August 14, 2025, the Galaxy A17 runs on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 and supports 5G connectivity. It also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as microSDXC card support for expandable storage.

The phone is available in black, blue, and grey color options, though A101’s current stock appears limited.
This move by BİM and A101 follows previous instances of offering competitively priced electronics; A101 previously sold iPhone 15 and iPad 11 models, while BİM has featured other discounted electronic products in recent weeks. The latest offering of the Galaxy A17 highlights the retailers’ focus on providing accessible technology to consumers.
