Arc System Works has announced the February 12, 2026 global release of Blazblue Entropy Effect X, a modern Roguelite action game based on the Blazblue fighting game series. The game is being developed by 91ACT and published by Astrolabe Games.
Blazblue Entropy Effect X features 16 playable characters from the Blazblue universe and other worlds. The game boasts refined 2D graphics, diverse action gameplay, and user-friendly controls, offering a dynamic action experience. This release expands the Blazblue franchise into the popular Roguelite genre, appealing to a broader audience.
Characters from Dead Cells and ICE ICEY will as well be playable in Blazblue Entropy Effect X. Players can unlock these additional characters by completing specific challenges within the game.
A Digital Deluxe Edition of the game is available for purchase, including the “ACE-OST OTHERWORLD VOICE BLAZBLUE ENTROPY EFFECT X – OST Infinity Edition” and exclusive avatars. The PlayStation Store lists the Digital Deluxe Edition for NT$605, discounted from its original price of NT$673. PlayStation Plus members can receive an additional 10% discount until February 11, 2026.
The Nintendo eShop offers the game for HKD 198. According to reports, the game will be available on multiple platforms.
The announcement from GNN details the full voice actor cast, confirming that the original voice actors from the Blazblue series will reprise their roles for this new installment.
