Global Auto, the official BMW distributor in Egypt, has launched the all-new BMW X3, designed to blend the sporty characteristics of a sedan with the power and practicality of a sport activity vehicle (SAV). The company announced the release of the fourth generation X3 on September 3, 2025, positioning it as a versatile vehicle for both on- and off-road adventures.
Pricing for the BMW X3 in Egypt starts at 4.1 million Egyptian pounds for the base xLine X3 20 model. The higher-equipped X3 30 xDrive is priced at 4.99 million Egyptian pounds.
The new BMW X3 features an exterior design that combines modern aesthetics with aerodynamic efficiency. A key design element is the illuminated BMW Kidney Iconic Glow grille, integrated with modern headlights and smart air intakes that regulate airflow for optimal cooling. The front design is completed with Adaptive LED headlights featuring a turning light function.
In the Egyptian market, the BMW X3 is available with two TwinPower Turbo engine options. The BMW X3 20 xLine comes with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with mild-hybrid technology, producing 190 horsepower and 310 Newton-meters of torque. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 218 km/h. The higher-performance BMW X3 30 xDrive is equipped with a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo engine, also with mild-hybrid technology, delivering 258 horsepower and 400 Newton-meters of torque. This model achieves a zero-to-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The BMW X3 30 xDrive includes the xDrive all-wheel-drive system for enhanced stability and control, working in conjunction with the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system to precisely distribute power to all four wheels. It also features an Adaptive Suspension system for an exceptional driving experience on various road surfaces.
Customers can choose between two design lines: xLine and M Sport. The BMW X3 20 xLine features chrome accents on the windows, grille, and rear bumper. The BMW X3 30 xDrive comes with the M Sport Pro package, which includes gloss black accents on the front and rear bumpers, grille, M Lights Shadowline, and an M sports braking system.
The interior of the new BMW X3 incorporates a BMW Curved Display, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch control display running BMW OS 9.0. The cabin also includes the interactive Interaction Bar, ambient lighting, and a high-fidelity Harman Kardon sound system with 15 speakers and 750 watts of power.
Global Auto is offering three years or 60,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) of free maintenance for the latest BMW X3, along with an extended warranty covering up to five years or 200,000 kilometers. The launch of the locally assembled X3 underscores BMW’s commitment to the Egyptian market and its strategy of expanding local production capabilities.
