Bodo/Glimt has been a giant-killer throughout this Champions League campaign, having already claimed victories against Manchester City and Atlético Madrid during the league phase. But overcoming last year’s Champions League runner-up Inter Milan over two legs stands as their most impressive achievement yet.
Second-half strikes from Jens Petter Hauge and Hakon Evjen silenced the San Siro crowd and propelled Bodo/Glimt into the next round, where they will face either Manchester City or Sporting CP.
Alessandro Bastoni managed to pull one back for Inter, but the damage was already done as Bodo/Glimt held on for a historic victory.
