The Bonoloto lottery is one of Spain’s longest-running daily draws, operated by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (LAE). It has been held continuously since 1988, with drawings taking place every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday, in the Hall of Draws. The lottery was initially created to provide players with an affordable, daily opportunity to participate in a lottery game.
How to Play
To participate, players select six numbers from 1 to 49. This selection can be made manually or through an automatic option available at lottery retailers.
There are two types of bets available:
- Simple Bet: involves choosing exactly six numbers.
- Multiple Bet: allows players to expand their play by selecting up to 11 numbers, generating more combinations.
Each draw results in six main numbers, a complementary number, and a refund number, which are used to determine the different prize categories.
All Prizes
Prizes are awarded based on the number of correct matches:
- 1st Category: 6 matches
- 2nd Category: 5 matches + complementary number
- 3rd Category: 5 matches
- 4th Category: 4 matches
- 5th Category: 3 matches
- Refund: matching the refund number
The value of each prize varies depending on the total amount collected from ticket sales and the number of winners in each category. This structure reflects the common practice of prize pools adjusting based on participation and winning outcomes.
When and Where to Watch
The draw is held every day at 9:30 PM local time. It can be viewed live on the official website of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, where the results are too published after the draw. The winning numbers can also be found on the EL PAÍS website.
