Bouke Scholten Reveals New Romance: ‘We Are Very Much in Love’
Dutch singer Bouke Scholten, often referred to as “the Dutch Elvis,” has confirmed a new relationship. The news comes as the performer enjoys a busy period, including a nearly sold-out theater tour and an upcoming concert at the Ziggo Dome.
“We are very much in love,” Scholten stated, according to De Telegraaf.
Scholten’s career has been on an upward trajectory since winning the RTL4 program “Waar is Elvis?” in 2009 and “The Winner Takes It All” on SBS6 in 2014. He also triumphed in the finale of RTL4’s “ALL TOGETHER NOW!” in 2019, with the 100-member jury voting in his favor. He released singles “Great Balls of Fire” and “Never Gone Fall in Love Again” following his win.
The singer is also preparing for a duet with Roxeanne Hazes during his concert at the Ziggo Dome on March 20. Scholten’s performance at the Ziggo Dome follows the success of his previous concert there, which is now available to view on Qisum. He recently appeared in the finale of the MAX Orkest and was featured in “Stars on Stage” on RTL 4.
His latest album has been well-received, with singles “Reach a Little Bit Closer” and “Julie” becoming staples in his performances.
