Fifth Place with “Rakt in i elden”
When the votes were tallied, Brandsta City Släckers’ song “Rakt in i elden” finished in fifth place in the final with 82 points. The band, known for their firemen uniforms and energetic performances, delivered a memorable showing despite a last-minute injury.
The song is still available to stream on SVT Play.
Felicia won the competition with “My System,” which received 161 points, SVT reported. Felicia also experienced health concerns the week before the final.
The Melodifestivalen weekend didn’t finish there. At the after-party, Brandsta City Släckers got the dance floor going and pulled the younger artists up to join them, Aftonbladet reported.
