The Brazilian national team’s roster for the upcoming international break boasts a distinctly Premier League flavor, with manager Carlo Ancelotti calling up nine players currently competing in England’s top flight.
Brazil will face France on March 27th and Croatia on April 1st, both matches taking place in the United States.
These matches also serve as a final tune-up for teams preparing to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Ancelotti has heavily leaned on players from the English top division when assembling his squad!

According to Tribuna, the nine Brazil internationals currently playing in the Premier League selected by Ancelotti are Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal), Andrey Santos and Joao Pedro (Chelsea), Matheus Cunha and Casemiro (Manchester United), Igor Thiago (Brentford) and Rayan Rochoa (Bournemouth).
Igor Thiago is receiving his first ever call-up to the national team. Thiago has been in excellent form this season, scoring 19 goals and currently ranking second in the league’s scoring charts.
Ancelotti is familiar with the Premier League, having previously managed Chelsea and Everton during his time in England. The league has become a significant source of talent for the Brazilian national team.
There are currently 30 Brazilian players competing in the Premier League in the 2025/26 season.
