Britney Spears’ youngest son reportedly took possession of the singer’s car following her recent arrest for driving under the influence, according to the Daily Mail.
19-year-old Jayden Federline drove the same vehicle Spears was operating on the day of her arrest. Sources note this isn’t the first time she’s entrusted her car to her son after a police incident.
On March 5, reports surfaced that Spears had been taken into police custody. The 2000s pop icon’s manager stated she had been “going down the wrong path” for some time. He added that the arrest could be a catalyst for Spears to adopt a more mindful and sober lifestyle. Spears’ case is scheduled for May 4.
