The O Sealion 07, a new SUV coupe from BYD, is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The all-wheel drive version, equipped with dual motors, delivers 530 horsepower and 70.3 kgfm of torque.
Testing of the model has been conducted on the Raceville track in Brotas, São Paulo. The SUV coupe utilizes BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 architecture, enabling rapid battery charging – reaching 80% capacity in under 20 minutes.
The SUV has a limited top speed of 225 km/h. It measures 4.73 meters in length, 1.86 meters in width, and 1.71 meters in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2.76 meters. The trunk offers 520 liters of storage, expanding to 1,789 liters with the rear seats folded down.
The interior features dual screens, the larger of which measures 15.6 inches and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle is equipped with nine airbags and an interior that blends leather and Alcantara textures.
BYD aims to compete in the market segment currently occupied by vehicles such as the Porsche Macan Turbo.
