Camila Busnello to Capture Over ‘Domingo Espetacular’ as Carolina Ferraz Departs Record TV
Record TV has announced a major leadership shake-up for one of its flagship programs. Camila Busnello is stepping in to lead Domingo Espetacular, taking over the presentation duties alongside Roberto Cabrini.

The transition follows the departure of Carolina Ferraz, who is leaving the network after six years at the helm of the Sunday show. According to reports on April 8, 2026, Ferraz is officially stepping down from the command of the program, making way for Busnello’s arrival in the next edition.
This appointment serves as a significant milestone for Busnello, who celebrated 20 years with the network in January 2026. A veteran of Brazilian journalism, her rise within Record TV has been steady and diverse. Since joining the network in 2006, she has served as a reporter for SP Record and Fala Brasil, and hosted Hora News on Record News.
Busnello’s portfolio extends far beyond the domestic studio. In 2010, she was appointed as an international correspondent in New York City, a role she held for two years. Upon her return to Brazil, she spent six years as a special reporter for Domingo Espetacular, covering a wide array of editorial beats—experience that likely paved the way for her current promotion. She also became a familiar face during intervals of Hoje em Dia and various soap operas through the Boletim R7.
The network’s shift in talent highlights a commitment to versatility, as Busnello has already bridged the gap between traditional TV and digital media. She has been instrumental in the portal R7’s growth, co-hosting the Resumo R7 podcast with Heródoto Barbeiro in 2019 and launching the weekly PodVirtz in 2020.
Busnello’s career began in 1999 at rádio Jovem Pan, where she spent four years evolving from listener relations to an economy reporter. Her early television experience included stints at TV Alphaville and a year-long tenure at Band, where she presented Primeiro Jornal in 2005 alongside Fernando Vieira de Mello.
As Record defines its new presentation strategy, the move signals a new era for the Sunday broadcast, blending Busnello’s deep network roots with her extensive international and digital experience.
For those following the transition, Carolina Ferraz has already bid farewell to the program, marking the end of a six-year chapter at the network.
