Carrefour is bolstering its promotional efforts in Argentina with a new series of discounts on small appliances, offering savings of up to 50% on select items. The retail chain launched the promotions in February, available both in physical stores and online, focusing on everyday household goods.

The campaign includes price reductions on air fryers, coffee makers, electric kettles, toasters, food processors, and juicers. Carrefour is combining promotional pricing with exclusive benefits for digital purchases and specific shipping options on certain products.

The renewed promotional push comes as Argentinian consumer spending is focused on finding opportunities and financing options. The company continues to operate its network of over 700 stores nationwide and is developing new technologies related to the shopping experience.

Featured Carrefour Appliance Deals in February

Air fryers are a key focus of the promotions. The Mandine 6-liter air fryer is currently available for $137,000 with a 26% discount. Online, the Hisense air fryer is priced at $179,999, reflecting a 34% reduction.

The Carrefour Home 9-liter air fryer is too on offer for $129,000, a 7% discount, and is available in both physical stores and online, subject to stock levels.

For breakfast and coffee needs, the Mandine digital filter coffee maker is listed at $35,000 with a 40% discount, even as the classic version of the same product is available for $29,000, reduced by 45%. The Mandine toaster is priced at $45,000, with a 15% reduction.

For daily cooking tasks, the Sansei electric chopper is available for $25,999, a 40% discount. The Mandine 1.7-liter electric kettle is offered at $59,000, down 32%, and the Mandine juicer is listed at $60,000, with a 20% discount.

Promotions are subject to a specific validity period and conditions that may vary by store or sales channel. The company bases discount percentages on previously recorded prices on its platform.

Carrefour Online Promotions: Exclusive Discounts and 2-for-1 Deals

The online channel offers additional benefits on select products. A 2-for-1 promotion is available on 5-liter Electrolux air fryers, with two units priced at $128,000. The company states that the total discount in this offer reaches 50% and is exclusively available for online purchases.

Products available with “delivery only” options include the Gadnic six-cup yogurt maker, priced at $63,849 with a 23% discount, and the Gadnic electric rice cooker, available for $90,499, reduced by 23%.

These digital promotions integrate with the company’s standard online shopping system, allowing customers to choose store pickup or home delivery depending on product availability. Some items are available for direct home delivery only.

The company’s website provides details on current offers, delivery times, and financing options. Discounts may vary depending on the payment method or agreements with financial institutions, in line with the company’s commercial policy.

Carrefour in Argentina: Operations, Expansion, and Technology

These promotions are unfolding as Carrefour Argentina continues its operations, following the July announcement of its intention to sell the business. The potential sale includes over 700 stores, a financial arm, and approximately 17,000 employees, but there have been no recent public updates on the process.

While maintaining its operational structure, the company is implementing initiatives related to logistics and technology. This includes expanding its Immediate Delivery system, which aims to deliver purchases within an estimated one hour. The service is currently available in 50 stores across Buenos Aires City, Greater Buenos Aires North, Córdoba, Mendoza, and Tandil.

According to the company, the system maintains the same prices and promotions as those found in physical stores, integrating the digital channel with the existing store network.

Carrefour is also piloting Computer Vision technology at checkout lanes. The system uses artificial intelligence to identify products and reduce wait times. Testing is underway in stores located in Vicente López, San Fernando, and Rincón de Milberg.

The technological implementation is part of a modernization plan extending into 2026. The company has not announced any changes to its store network or employee numbers as part of these initiatives.

Mass Consumption and Commercial Strategy in the First Quarter

The relaunch of appliance discounts aligns with Carrefour’s commercial strategy for the first quarter of the year. Small appliances represent a consistently rotating product category and are often included in seasonal campaigns related to the start of the year.

Discounts, reaching up to 50% in some cases, apply to selected items with limited stock. Combining discounts in physical stores with exclusive online promotions aims to broaden the campaign’s reach and distribute sales flow between both channels.

Continued investment in logistics and technology, alongside mass promotions, defines Carrefour’s operational landscape in Argentina during February. Current appliance offers are part of a commercial policy that is regularly updated based on the calendar and market conditions.
