Carrie Fleming, a Canadian actress known for her roles in iZombie and Supernatural, has died at the age of 51. Fleming passed away on February 26 in Sidney, British Columbia, due to complications related to cancer.
Born August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia, Fleming trained in acting at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and dance at the Kidco Theatre Dance Company after attending Mount Douglas Senior Secondary School. She began her career as a model before appearing on screen for over three decades, with early credits including an uncredited cameo in Happy Gilmore.
Fleming’s television operate included appearances in series such as Stargate SG-1, The Sentinel, and Smallville. She as well appeared in films including Get Carter, The Dead Zone, Leprechaun, and The Way Home. She frequently took on roles within the supernatural and science fiction genres, notably as Karen Singer, the wife of Bobby Singer and a friend to the Winchester brothers, in a recurring role on The CW’s Supernatural. Similarly, she had a recurring role as Candy Baker over five seasons of the zombie comedy iZombie, starring Rose McIver.
