Venezuelan actress Catherine Fulop responded with humor and affection after singer Guillermo Dávila recently recalled their past romance. The reminiscing began when Dávila appeared on “El valor de la verdad,” where he openly discussed his relationship with Fulop.
Dávila said the connection sparked at the 1986 Miss Venezuela competition, where she was a contestant and he performed as a musical guest. The chemistry was immediate, and though the relationship was brief, it left a lasting impression on both of them.

Rather than address the story with drama, Fulop took to social media to share her feelings with a lighthearted post.
“Oh, what a beautiful memory with @guillermodavilaoficial! I really love that he remembered,” she wrote on Instagram.
Fulop playfully clarified the nature of their connection, adding: “He was always very honest about his feelings, and we were basically flirting, like the kids say now!!”

Fulop also revealed the breakup was painful, describing it as a time “when my heart broke.”
