Sáenz’s return also drew attention due to her personal journey in recent years. In 2024, she announced she had overcome breast cancer after a long and demanding treatment.
“I am very happy because until a few days ago I didn’t understand what it meant, and the doctor told me it was the finish of my treatment. I just have to go to the oncologist in about eight weeks to see what my pill treatment would be, but only to control it,” she stated upon ringing the bell signifying the end of her medical journey.
