Like many celebrities, Eugenia “La China” Suárez and Mauro Icardi shared how they spent Valentine’s Day on social media this past Saturday, February 14th.
The date was particularly special for the couple, coinciding with La China’s return – accompanied by her children – to Istanbul, Turkey, where she currently lives with Galatasaray footballer Icardi.
Following the celebration of her daughter Magnolia’s eighth birthday and her appearance at the premiere of the second season of En el barro (Netflix), where she has a prominent role, Suárez returned to Turkey and reunited with her partner. The Netflix series is gaining attention for its dramatic storylines and cast.
Icardi planned a special surprise to welcome her home.
“I celebrate you every day. All the time. Every minute. Every second. Happy Valentine’s Day,” La China Suárez wrote in her Instagram post, sharing photos of the gifts Icardi gave her for the romantic holiday.
Alongside romantic photos of the couple, the actress showcased the enormous bouquet of red roses Icardi gifted her, along with a teddy bear and a generous assortment of chocolates.
And as if that weren’t enough, Icardi also presented her with a luxurious handbag, which Suárez also showed off on her social media.
The gift is a green Louis Vuitton My Capucines handbag.
The exclusive accessory was specially personalized for the actress, featuring the initials “E” and “M” – representing Eugenia and Mauro – on the gold chain.
Icardi shared his partner’s post and added a simple, heartfelt message: “I love you.”
He then added the phrase “My valentine every day”, accompanied by heart, rose and lovestruck face emojis.
