China has issued a strong warning to all its citizens currently in Israel, urging them to exit the country immediately as security conditions in the Middle East deteriorate.

The Chinese Embassy in Israel is pressing its nationals to avoid risking their safety and to depart Israel, seek shelter, or return to China as soon as possible.

China’s state-run news agency, Xinhua, reported that the embassy is organizing additional evacuation missions for its citizens through the Taba border crossing, which connects Israel with Egypt.

This move, as reported by Al Jazeera on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, comes amid increasing threats of aerial attacks endangering civilians in the region.

“The scope, frequency, and intensity of rocket and drone attacks against Israel are increasing, leading to a rise in casualties and property damage,” the embassy stated in a release cited by Xinhua.

“Repeated incidents have occurred where people were injured due to failing to reach bomb shelters in time,” the warning continued.

In addition to the evacuation order, the embassy has provided specific instructions for Chinese citizens remaining in Israel to heighten their vigilance.

They are advised to stay away from high-risk targets, including airports, ports, power plants, oil refineries, other critical infrastructure facilities, and sensitive military sites.

Recent attacks saw Iran launch missiles toward Israel on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Loud explosions were heard in Jerusalem as Israeli military teams worked to locate and rescue people near buildings damaged by the Iranian missile strikes.

Israeli officials stated that the latest Iranian missile attacks were directed toward northern Israel and that they were working to intercept the threats.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also threatened to attack power plants in Israel following a warning from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding potential attacks on Iranian power facilities if the Strait of Hormuz were to be closed.
