The Chinese Ambassador to Spain, Mr. Yao Jing, recently visited facilities at HM Hospitales and the Camilo José Cela University HM Health Sciences Center. Ambassador Jing was accompanied by Luan Congyuan, head of the Embassy’s General Office, during a tour of the institutions led by Dr. Juan Abarca Cidón, president of HM Hospitales, and Dr. José Barberán, dean of the Camilo José Cela University HM Health Sciences Center. The delegation explored the center’s teaching and technological infrastructure, where students gain practical experience using advanced simulation and clinical learning tools.
The tour included clinical simulation spaces, anatomical laboratories, and advanced teaching technologies. Students utilize specialized equipment, including clinical simulation mannequins and 3D human anatomy systems, to enhance their practical healthcare training. The visit culminated in a demonstration of HM Hospitales’ health technology showroom. This space is designed to showcase and evaluate technological solutions for healthcare applications before they are implemented in real-world clinical settings. The showroom integrates technology classrooms, clinical simulation areas, an anatomy laboratory with an interactive avatar, and collaborative connected spaces.
