CULTURE REPORTERUpdated:
Action film icon Chuck Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii, according to reports. Sources close to the actor say he was admitted to a Kauai hospital following a medical emergency. While details surrounding the incident have not been released, he is reportedly in good spirits.
Norris, who recently turned 86, shared a video on social media earlier this month showing him working out with a personal trainer.
Before his film career, Norris was a karate champion and the founder of his own martial arts style, Chun Kuk Do.
Norris rose to fame in the 1970s and 80s with films like ‘Way of the Dragon,’ alongside Bruce Lee, and the ‘Missing in Action’ series. He later became a television star with ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’
This news comes as fans continue to celebrate the legacy of action cinema and its enduring stars.
