The Ninth Digital China Construction Summit will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, from April 29 to April 30, according to National Data Administration (NDA) Director Liu Liehong. The summit’s theme is “Accelerating Innovation and Development of Digital Technologies and Deeply Advancing Digital China Construction.” The event will feature over 50 dialogue and exchange activities, alongside the Digital China Innovation Competition and an on-site experience area. More than 100 special events, including the Min River Digital Night Talks and academician/expert visits, will also be held concurrently.
“This year’s summit will focus more on showcasing achievements, releasing technologies and fostering a thriving ecosystem,” Liu Liehong stated on March 24th.
Regarding achievement displays, the “Digital China Development Report (2025)” and the Digital China Development Index will be released, along with over 30 key policies, reports, and standards related to Digital China construction. The on-site experience area will include a fresh “Artificial Intelligence” section, covering essential elements such as computing power, algorithms, data, and industry applications.
On the technology release front, nearly 400 companies, including Southern Power Grid, Alibaba, and ZTE, will unveil their latest digital transformation technologies and products. These span areas like chips, large industry models, and embodied intelligence, with over 65% representing debut showings. The increasing focus on AI reflects the growing importance of the sector to China’s digital economy.
To foster a robust ecosystem, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and Huawei will host four ecosystem conferences focused on specific segments within the Artificial Intelligence field. These events will gather over 400 companies from across the industry chain to discuss collaboration and development. The summit will also introduce an “Industry Docking Cabin” to directly connect innovative results with market demand.
