Dionne Stax and Steven Jansen Sell Villa for a Substantial Profit
Dutch television personality Dionne Stax and her partner, DJ Steven Jansen, are set to profit handsomely from the sale of their home. The couple is selling their villa in Almere and purchasing a property in Bussum, a town in the Gooi region of the Netherlands, according to reports.
The sale of their current home is expected to net them nearly €150,000 in profit. They originally purchased the villa for €1.310.000, which was €285.000 under the initial asking price of €1.595.000.
The couple’s new home, a stately villa built in 1915, boasts six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious garden, and a 39 square meter rooftop terrace. The move comes after the birth of their daughter, Lexie, approximately one year ago, suggesting the require for more space for their growing family.
Stax and Jansen first met four years ago during the filming of the show De drie sterrencamping. Even as not love at first sight, Jansen admitted he initially found Stax “a little boring,” but later came to appreciate her personality. “You are much more fun than I thought,” he reportedly told her. Stax, a well-known newsreader, initially only knew Jansen from his music as part of the DJ duo Lucas & Steve.
The Gooi region is a popular residential area for media professionals, making it a fitting location for the couple. This purchase reflects a trend of entertainment figures seeking homes in the area known for its historic and characterful properties.
The transfer of ownership for the new villa is scheduled for January 2026.
