A man is being held for an additional two weeks while authorities investigate an incident where a female runner was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle, according to reports from Dutch news outlets.
The incident occurred in ‘s-Gravenzande, Netherlands. Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the case, NOS reported.
The runner, identified as Lisa, was reportedly hit from behind and left at the scene. Witnesses stated the driver continued without stopping, according to AD.nl.
