Pop singer Edis Görgülü and former national athlete Adem Kılıçcı have tested positive for drugs as part of an ongoing investigation into celebrities, according to reports.
Novel DEVELOPMENT IN INVESTIGATION
A large number of individuals were detained and subjected to drug testing as part of a drug operation launched by the Public Prosecutor’s Office targeting well-known figures. It had been alleged that some individuals’ test results came back positive.
Pop singer Edis Görgülü and former athlete Adem Kılıçcı, who were detained last week and had their statements taken, were also among those tested during the same operation.
TEST RESULTS RETURN POSITIVE
According to journalist Burak Doğan, a report prepared following examinations by the Forensic Medicine Institute indicated that the drug tests of Edis Görgülü and Adem Kılıçcı were positive.
ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES DETECTED
The report stated that traces of cocaine were found in singer Edis Görgülü’s test, whereas traces of cannabis, an illegal substance, were found in the hair and blood samples of Adem Kılıçcı.
