EgyptAir has suspended flights to several cities in the Middle East, citing regional instability. Flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Beirut, Doha, Amman, Dammam, Bahrain, Baghdad, Erbil, and Kuwait are affected until further notice.
The airline stated the decision was made due to escalating events in the region impacting air traffic in neighboring countries. EgyptAir’s Integrated Operations Center (IOCC) is continuously monitoring the situation in coordination with relevant authorities and foreign stations.
The suspension underscores growing concerns about the safety of air travel in the region amid heightened geopolitical tensions. EgyptAir emphasized its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety to ensure the security of its passengers.
