Empa Elektronik Launches Public Offering in Istanbul

Empa Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi is moving forward with a public offering on Borsa İstanbul, with subscription to begin on February 19 and conclude on February 20, 2026. The offering involves the sale of 38 million shares at a fixed price of 22 Turkish Lira per share, aiming to raise 836 million Turkish Lira, according to reports.

The company, which provides comprehensive technological solutions across a wide range of industries – including space, aviation, defense, industrial electronics, e-mobility, white goods, and smart energy – received approval from the Capital Markets Board for the public offering. This move reflects growing investor interest in Turkey’s technology sector and the potential for expansion within these key industries.

Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. Is leading the offering, which includes 29 million shares resulting from an increase in the company’s authorized capital from 141 million to 170 million Turkish Lira, and 9 million shares from existing partners. The public float is projected to reach 22.35 percent following the completion of the offering, company filings indicate.

The offering is structured with an equal distribution method, and the shares are compliant with the participation index, according to sources. Following the completion of the public offering, Empa Elektronik is expected to trade on Borsa İstanbul under the ticker symbol “EMPAE”.

Demand for the offering closed on February 20, 2026, reports indicate. The company’s broad portfolio and strategic focus on high-growth sectors position it for potential success in the Turkish market and beyond.

Empa Elektronik’s entry into the Borsa İstanbul represents another addition to the exchange, signaling continued activity in the Turkish capital markets, as noted by Sözcü Gazetesi. The company’s focus on defense and aviation technologies as well aligns with Turkey’s growing emphasis on domestic production in these critical sectors, Haber Aero reports.
