Farm Life Disrupted by Mysterious Poisoned Apple
Chopping wood for fuel, making cheese, curd, and butter – the residents of the farm finally had to get to work. However, the week’s task was disrupted by a letter warning against eating a poisoned apple, which could lead to expulsion from the farm. So far, Aksel has given the apple to “Lamia,” who is supposed to pass it on as a nomination for a duel to another contestant…
“I Can Do What I Desire”
The barn residents were ready to work in the morning, all except “Lamia,” who had no intention of exerting herself and dedicated herself to preparing for the expected duel. She rebelled and refused to go to the animals. – “I’m not afraid given that I’m already nominated,” she commented on her actions. The behavior of “Lamia” surprised Agnieszka and Wojtek, while Andrzej and “Janosik” demanded consequences. The barn, with a reduced team, had to take care of cleaning, cooking, chores, and repairs to ensure the house was in a condition to complete the week’s task.
Provoking the Farmer of the Week
“Lamia” clearly enjoyed provoking the Farmer of the Week, who was unable to force her to work. – “I am in a free country and I am a free woman, I can do what I want, and you can…” she shouted at him. – “You are an abnormal woman,” Aksel concluded, who would gladly see “Lamia” removed from the program. Andrzej and Roland felt the same way. Who will face her in a duel?
Like in the Ring
The heated exchange between the feuding contestants wasn’t the only one of the day. – “I see you have Roland’s mentality. He also told me my brain was lying around,” “Lamia” said, attempting to anger the Farmer of the Week. His response? – “I don’t even grasp if he’s there. Is there even anything there? Or is he just focused on making everyone angry?” Shortly after, Henryk criticized him for it. – “You necessitate to control yourself sometimes,” said the retiree, focused on the apple curd, which was part of the task. He even licked his fingers and the spoon, which wasn’t allowed on the farm at that moment. He apologized, and Aksel took the opportunity to reconcile with “Lamia.”
Back to Work
Roland and the Farmer of the Week set off in a tractor with a trailer to the forest. There, they were to cut the wood into smaller pieces, as instructed by Szymon. But would they do it correctly? there were to be 120 pieces. Back on the farm, they ate lunch and… plotted. “Lamia” was looking for allies, while Agnieszka and Wojtek devised plans to fight on two fronts.
Checking the Work
Henryk and Karolina took on a more constructive task. After weighing the butter and curd, they found that something was missing. – “Good thing we checked, because there would have been problems and confusion later,” the man noted. Aksel and Roland returned to the farm, satisfied with the chopped wood. The Farmer of the Week’s mood quickly soured when he learned about the shortages. Ewa, however, remained optimistic.
No Time for Sleep
Despite the late hour, Agnieszka encouraged the house to continue working on the curd. – “I wanted to help them as much as possible, because I also want the weekly task to be completed,” said the woman from Łódź, who couldn’t understand the sluggishness of the housemates. Henryk, meanwhile, complained about Aksel’s disorganization while working. He also overheated the kefir. – “Now it’s going to be crap,” Agnieszka commented. – “You reap what you sow,” the Farmer of the Week quoted Henryk. That’s a double-edged sword. The two fell out.
Girl Talk
Taking advantage of the confusion, “Lamia” went to consider to whom she would pass the nomination apple. She considered each resident of the barn, seeing strong opponents among most of them. She chose Dominika. – “I think she chickened out. She says one thing and does another, but I have no complaints. I’d be happy to go into a duel with her and happy to win,” said the former soccer player.
Reflections
What is the real “Lamia” like? Is she a warm person or a fierce woman who won’t give up? The woman from Siedlce tried to answer this question in a conversation with Ewa. The writer was surprised by her colleague’s gentle side.
