Egyptian actor Fathy Abdel Wahab has bid farewell to his character, “Sameeh Al-Gelad,” from the hit series “Al-Medah 6,” expressing gratitude to fans and the production team for their positive response to his performance.

Abdel Wahab took to his Facebook account to write, “Farewell, Sameeh Al-Gelad. I want to thank all the audience for your words and opinions about the character of Sameeh Al-Gelad, in both Part 4 and Part 6.”

He continued, “I am very happy with all the reactions I received, which were always a great motivation for me to present the character in the best possible way. A big thank you to all the hardworking people behind the camera, the great director Ahmed Samir Farag and his team of assistant directors, cinematographer Mark Aouny and the cinematography team.”

Abdel Wahab added, “The lighting team, Gaffer Sorour and the entire lighting crew, set designer Samer El-Gamal and his assistants, the writing team at the workshop of writer Amin Gamal, composer and songwriter of the song ‘Sergy Mergy’ Karim Abdel Wahab, and the talented poet Osama Mohrez.”

He went on to say, “And finally, my fellow talented and hardworking actresses and actors… you were a great assist and showed kindness, love, and generosity. The production company, led by production supervisor Ahmed Jalal.”

Concluding his message, Abdel Wahab said, “And to the great audience, thank you for promising to meet again soon in new works, God willing.”
