The Italian Revenue Agency to Take Key Portal Offline for Major Upgrade

Access to the Fatture e Corrispettivi portal will be suspended starting at 1:00 PM today, March 21, and will remain down until 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, as the Italian Revenue Agency undertakes a significant maintenance update.

The agency confirmed that the submission of electronic invoices will remain unaffected during this period, with existing rules and timelines for data transmission to the Exchange System remaining in place. This ensures businesses can continue essential financial operations without disruption.

However, other services, including the connection between POS systems and Telematic Cash Registers, will be temporarily unavailable.

Fatture e Corrispettivi Portal Suspension: Agency Announcement

The Italian Revenue Agency announced the suspension of access to the Fatture e Corrispettivi portal via a notice published on its website. From 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, to 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, users will be unable to utilize the online services due to the extraordinary maintenance.

Despite the portal’s limited functionality, businesses will still be able to send and receive invoices through technical channels such as the SDI (Exchange System), PEC, or connected management software. The suspension applies solely to the portal’s web interface.

Fatture e Corrispettivi: New Graphical Interface Coming March 22

The extraordinary maintenance on the Fatture e Corrispettivi portal will result in the launch of a completely redesigned graphical interface. The Agency indicated that the goal is to improve the usability and efficiency of the services offered.

The core services remain unchanged. the functionalities for consultation, generation, and storage will not undergo structural modifications. The update focuses on making the portal’s navigation more intuitive.

What we have is particularly important as the portal is central to managing electronic invoicing and the flow of payments, including the new service for the POS-RT connection which debuted in March 2026.
