Five Iron Golf to Open Brooklyn’s Largest Indoor Golf Facility in Williamsburg
Five Iron Golf signed a lease for nearly 16,000 square feet at 25 Kent in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, today, marking the indoor golf operator’s expansion into the borough with its largest facility yet.
The new location, slated to open in the coming months, will feature 13 Trackman simulators utilizing multi-camera technology, a 7,000 square-foot gym, and luxury locker rooms. Five Iron Golf co-founder and CEO Jared Solomon stated, “We’ve had our sights set on Brooklyn for a long time.” This expansion reflects a growing trend of experiential retail and entertainment options seeking space in traditionally office-focused areas.
Located between Kent and Wythe avenues, 25 Kent is an eight-story, 500,000 square-foot building considered Brooklyn’s first ground-up new office project in 40 years, and is currently 65% leased. Other tenants include e-commerce platform Queen One and Autonomous Technologies Group. Craig Panzirer, leasing director of Global Holdings Management Group, noted that both Five Iron Golf and facial studio Glowbar, who recently leased space in the building, “embody the energy and creativity synonymous with Williamsburg,” adding that 25 Kent is “more than an office building where work, wellness and culture intersect.”
CBRE’s Anthony Dattoma represented Five Iron Golf in the lease negotiations, while a Newmark team represented Global Holdings. The Brooklyn facility will be comparable in size to Five Iron Golf’s recently leased space at 1290 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. Global Holdings expects continued leasing momentum as they aim to create a dynamic mixed-use destination in Williamsburg, a rapidly developing neighborhood known for its vibrant arts and culture scene; you can learn more about Williamsburg’s history and development on the official NYC government website.
Officials anticipate the new Five Iron Golf location will further enhance the building’s appeal to a diverse range of tenants seeking a modern and amenity-rich environment.
