Oklou Announces ‘Choke Enough’ Expansion with New Song Featuring FKA twigs
Musician Oklou has announced an expanded version of her album Choke Enough, including a new song and accompanying video titled “Viscus” featuring FKA twigs, released today.
The “Viscus” video, directed by Gil Gharbi, depicts Oklou and FKA twigs navigating an unsettling suburban environment. The deluxe edition of Choke Enough, arriving October 30 via True Panther, will feature three new songs in addition to “Viscus.” A vinyl expansion pack is scheduled for release on November 28. This release builds on the momentum of Oklou’s critically acclaimed album, solidifying her position as a rising force in electronic music.
Earlier this year, Oklou released a remix EP for Choke Enough, collaborating with artists including Nick León, Malibu, Aaron Hibell, and Jamesjamesjames. She is also scheduled to participate in a conversation with Pitchfork’s Mano Sundaresan on October 16 at the rescheduled launch of Pitchfork’s Oklou zine.
