Thirty-seven members of the Flamengo Young Fans (TJF), one of Brazil’s most prominent organized supporter groups, were arrested by military police from the 2nd BPM (Botafogo) near Morro Azul in Rio de Janeiro’s Zona Sul on Sunday, March 8, 2026. The arrests occurred hours before the highly anticipated Campeonato Carioca final between Flamengo and Fluminense at the Maracanã.
