Gang of Ten Attacks and Robs Four Men in Vienna’s Esterházy-Park
A violent encounter in Vienna’s 6th district has left four young men injured after they were targeted by a large group of assailants in a coordinated robbery.
According to early reports, a robbery involving ten perpetrators took place within the grounds of Esterházy-Park. The victims, identified as four young men, were reportedly beaten by the gang before being robbed of their belongings. Esterházy-Park, located in the Mariahilf neighborhood of Vienna’s 6th district, is a well-known community space. Since 2020, it has served as the city’s first “Cooling-Park,” featuring specialized misting stations and greenery designed to lower ambient temperatures during summer heatwaves. The park is situated adjacent to the House of the Sea (Haus des Meeres) and the Flakturm climbing wall.
